UniModem

Uni-Modem is a stand alone remote unit to link all Unimeter compatible devices to a personal Computer via the telephone system.

All function programming of the Unimeter devices can be carried out without any additional intelligence at the remote location. 

A two wire daisy-chain connects all Unimeter devices via the Uni-Modem to the 
telephone line. Direct control of remote plant is fully supported. 

 The Uni-Modem has an alarm input to automatically initiate a telephone call to any part of the world. 

This feature allows the user to setup control and monitoring facilities of remotely located systems at any distance. The links can be via any telephone network including satellite communications.
